These two dishes are easier than i thought they would be... Nasi Lemak, i substituted the cucumbers with fried broocoli as i like broocoli more ;p and the hakka dish yam abacus was quite easy to make too minus having to source for the yam...

Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve and Cotter Dam
Our Outing to Corin Forest ended up in Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve (http://www.australianalps.environment.gov.au/parks/tidbinbilla.html) and Cotter Dam after we missed the turn. It turned out to be an equally interesting trip too.. We saw sheeps, kangaroos, emus, etc etc, free range... up close and personal... I was worried of the boxing kangaroo through. They really hopped and hopped. So interesting.
This gate would close if the roads up to Tidbinbilla is too frosty or the water level is too high.

Before the leaves are gone in Glebe Park
Opposite Canberra Casino, this beautiful grassland used to be hay but they were removed in March and now the grass are just growing back.. it is actually a child care centre behind me and my favourite shop kathmandu. Minutes away would be the Canberra Centre for shopping time.
A helpful cyclist actually took a picture of us together when she saw us snapping ourselves. Thanks.
I love the autumn colours, they are just so pretty, the yellow leaves and those brown on the ground. Maple leaves...
Pretty Flowers
Pretty Flowers in Canberra is not unexpected as roses are pretty when in full blossoms but to expect to see 'mei hua' is unusual or at least unexpected for us. The 'fake' flowers at home during chinese new year is actually in full blossom in front of us. We actually saw them in two places, at a primary school and in a park. Here are some shots, enjoy... I personally like the white coloured flowers better.
