Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve and Cotter Dam

Our Outing to Corin Forest ended up in Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve (http://www.australianalps.environment.gov.au/parks/tidbinbilla.html) and Cotter Dam after we missed the turn. It turned out to be an equally interesting trip too.. We saw sheeps, kangaroos, emus, etc etc, free range... up close and personal... I was worried of the boxing kangaroo through. They really hopped and hopped. So interesting.

This gate would close if the roads up to Tidbinbilla is too frosty or the water level is too high.

Our search for the Koala bears on the Koala sighted track... in the rainforest...

Route to the racing track for many aspiring racers...

Mirror image at Cotter Dam... The clarity of the water is amazing.

To wrap up the day, shogun, our dinner was closed. So we had tempura at home instead on our own. Not too bad, quite nice. I did fish, calamari, broccoli, mushroom, sweet potatoes, yam and prawns... Yummy. and thankful for the fresh yummy seafood. Yam was from sydney though.
